Antonio Canales, one of the most influential figures in contemporary flamenco, will perform this Friday, September 18, as a guest artist at the Casa Inquieta tablao (Calle Zaragoza, 20, Seville). The evening brings together an exceptional lineup: Carmen Moreno and José Serrano on dance, Juan Villar and Antonio López on vocals, and Mariano Campallo on guitar.
There will be two performances, at 7:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., so that those interested can choose the time that best suits them. The venue’s intimate atmosphere—free from tourist trappings—makes the closeness to the artists an essential part of the experience.
Canales has spent decades building a career marked by interpretive power and a creative freedom that is rare in flamenco dance. His appearance at a tablao in downtown Seville is, without exaggeration, a rare treat.
