The Government has approved a new decree law that includes social measures such as the revaluation of pensions and the much talked-about transport subsidies, in light of its agreement with Junts. This has been announced after the Council of Ministers.
From the same decree there is a return to the 30% subsidies to public transport, which were rejected with the repeal of the omnibus decree last week.
Therefore, the free season tickets for Cercanías and Media Distancia will be available for purchase as from tomorrow, when these measures will take effect and will be published in the Official State Gazette. Avant trains, on the other hand, will keep their 50% discount.
As regards regional and municipal transport, the government will contribute 30% provided that the Junta de Andalucía and the City Council of Seville do the same (20%).
