The meteorological predictions for Holy Week in Seville are, by all means, one of the most sought after and updated of the year. In this way the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has already published its forecasts for this 2025, where the Olivier squall is grabbing all the attention.
For the next few days, overcast skies, sporadic showers and dust in suspension are expected. Thus, the first half of the Holy Week, from Palm Sunday, will be marked by instability and the forecast of rains under penalty of the brotherhoods.
Rain for Palm Sunday
For Palm Sunday, April 13, a 95% probability of thunderstorms is expected in the central hours of the day.
Fortunately, on Monday it decreases considerably to 40%, showers occasionally from 12:00 am. On Wednesday the weather will remain unstable to leave, in principle, a Holy Thursday in Seville with only a 10% chance of rain and maximum temperatures of 23 degrees.
These are, in principle, the first predictions provided by the State Meteorological Agency and that, in any case, should be considered provisional and variable as the days progress.
