Seville is preparing for a radical change in the weather. After the pleasant days that preceded this cold but sunny weekend, storm Harry will bring persistent rainfall to the capital starting on Wednesday. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has announced rain and storms for the next five days.
On Wednesday, the rain will begin around 9:00 a.m. and continue into the night, intensifying in the late afternoon. Temperatures will range between 6°C and 16°C.
Could it snow in the province of Seville?
On Thursday, the rain will ease off until midday. Friday will be an unstable day with possible storms in the afternoon and a snow level that will drop to 800 meters in the province.
The first signs of January have already raised the possibility of snow in the province of Seville. Once again, there is a possibility that places such as Pico del Terril, Estepa, Guadalcanal, Constantina, Alanís, and Cazalla de la Sierra—some of the highest altitude destinations in the province —will see some snowflakes fall in the coming days.
Over the weekend, the unstable weather will continue with intermittent showers and gusts of wind from the west. On Sunday, temperatures are expected to rise to 19°C.
