Gastronomic festivals in Seville are the norm. Whether it’s the good weather, the venues that allow them to be held outdoors, or the preference for the tapas format, these events dedicated to a specific dish or seasonal ingredient abound. To the proverbial festivals of Russian salad, pork rinds, or cheese, we needed to add an event featuring the city’s finest culinary offerings. From this need arose Gastrogarden, which in 2026 will hold its second edition on May 15, 16, and 17.
Its first edition was ultimately held in March, after several failed attempts due to weather forecasts, in Magallanes Park.
What is known about Gastrogarden 2026
Little else is known about this edition. For the occasion, according to their social media posts, there will once again be tastings, cooking demonstrations, live music, a market, children’s activities, and food pairings with wines and beers.
It remains to be seen which restaurants will participate in this spring edition, what tapas they will bring to Gastrogarden 2026, and where this culinary event will take place.
Admission to the festival was free in 2025, as were some of the activities that took place throughout the weekend.
In any case, not all tastings and workshops were free, though their cost will be listed on the festival’s social media, andthe tapas had a flat price of €5.
