A new edition of the Seville Book Fair kicks off, an appointment around books and a meeting for readers, readers, authors and authors. The cultural agenda is full of autumn plans and this long-awaited event is one of the most significant. This edition of the Book Fair 2025 celebrates its inauguration on Wednesday, October 22.
Location and venues of the Seville Book Fair
As happened last year, will move to the Jardines de Murillo in light of the works in Plaza Nueva. The inaugural lecture, by Inma Aguilera(La dama de La Cartuja, La pintora de la luz), will take place next Thursday, October 22.
Until November 2 it will be possible to attend this space that will bring together bookstores, publishers, writers and a good number of parallel activities.
90 exhibitors scattered in 57 booths and five common spaces full of stories and their authors and where the horror literature festival, the fourth edition of Hispalit and numerous talks and signings will take place.

Which authors will be attending the Seville Book Fair?
The Book Fair will bring together a large number of authors. Round tables, meetings, workshops and readings.
As far as Spanish fiction is concerned, we are expecting presentations of the latest books by Javier Castillo, Isaac Rosa or Luna de Miguel; the Mysterious Seville route with José Manuel García Bautista; the dialogue between filmmaker Jonás Trueba and critic Manuel J. Lombardo or the creative writing workshop The Atmosphere of Terror.
There will be book signings, of course. Seville will be attended by Carolina Yuste or Andrés Trapiello (October 22), Ana Lena Rivera and Maxi Iglesias (October 25) or Milena Busquets, who will close, along with Rodrigo Cortés, the literary event on November 2.
These are just some of the events that the fair compiles over 12 days.
Readers can check the entire program on the Seville Book Fair website, although we anticipate that there will be no shortage of talks, storytelling, narrations and panel discussions.
The poster, a piece by Jürgen Mayer
For the occasion, the poster evokes the lion on the Monument to the IV Centenary of the Discovery, also located in the space occupied by the fair.
Jürgen Mayer, in charge of Metropol Parasol, contextualizes his work for this literary event as “a translation of the difference between fantasy and reality”.
