Summer in Seville does not officially end until the Monasterio de la Cartuja opens its doors to live music. The Andalusian Center for Contemporary Art has just confirmed the lineup for one of the days of the next edition of Pop CAAC 2026.
The event, which is confirmed as one of the must-sees for music lovers, will take place on Friday, September 11. A marathon day that brings together folk-rock from Burgos with the viral phenomenon of Sanguijuelas del Guadiana.
This announcement is in addition to the already confirmed performance by Carolina Durante (September 19), in what will be their only concert in Andalusia to close their tour.
In any case, it remains to be seen which other voices will entertain audiences on these two late summer nights.
A night of essential live music in the meadow
If anything defines Pop CAAC, and this is expected to be the case in 2026, it is its drawing power, being a breath of fresh air in the last days of summer. Thus, in a handful of days, it brings together a good number of leading figures from the national music scene and thousands of attendees.
For this edition, the organizers have opted for a perfect balance between established artists and bands that are emerging strongly. For September 11, the lineup will include the following names:
- La M.O.D.A. (La Maravillosa Orquesta del Alcohol). The band from Burgos returns with its arsenal of accordions, mandolins, and that organic sound that has led them to give more than 600 concerts around the world.
- Sanguijuelas del Guadiana. After their appearance at La Revuelta and selling out in record time, the Extremaduran band brings its explosive mix of rumba, transgressive rock, and electronica.
- Ultraligera. The guitar pop band that everyone recommends, following the resounding success of their hit Pelo de foca.
- Emerging talent. The lineup is completed by the “tonti-punk” of Seville’s ArrecĂ0 and the flamenco and alternative sensibility of Aldhara.
