The Seville Fair is almost a showcase for flamenco fashion, a national artistic legacy that finds its most influential catwalk in the Real. And the shadow of wearing a flamenco dress for the first time is in the price to pay. In this regard, the RedMadre Sevilla association is once again organizing its Charity Market for Flamenco Dresses and Accessories.
This is the seventeenth edition of the initiative, which aims to finance the support and accompaniment program for pregnant women and new mothers.
This time, it will be held from February 19 to 22 and will feature second-hand items and new dresses and accessories donated by renowned flamenco fashion brands.
The campaignDale vida a tu traje de flamenca (Give life to your flamenco dress) brought together a large number of dresses and accessories from individuals (the collection campaign will be active until the day before the market opens) and fashion brands.
This is an alternative way to give new life to items that are no longer used, allowing other users to wear them at a lower price while raising awareness of the association’s work.
Thus, second-hand items are combined with new creations by renowned brands.
Which flamenco fashion brands will be offering their dresses?

Specifically, this edition of the RedMadre market includes designs donated by brands such as Aires de Sevilla, Alberto Mattey, Artesanía María Paz, Artesanía Nava, Aurora Gaviño, Carmen Acedo, Chiara Joyitas, Doña Macu, Flamenco Pol Núñez, Flecos, Maype Flamenca, Sonibel, and Tomar Artesanía.
Other new collaborators include Conchi Alcaraz and Nati Ciudad Moda Baile Flamenco.
Costumes and accessories from these brands can also be purchased in exchange for a donation.
The market will also offer updated costumes from theRecicla y crea con RedMadresewing workshop, launched in 2018 with the participation of users and volunteers from the association.
