A great storm is being felt in Seville and province this Wednesday, October 29. The Territorial Emergency Plan activated the pre-emergency phase with orange alert for strong gusts of wind and heavy rainfall.
The parks and the municipal cemetery were closed preventively since Tuesday by the City of Seville.
From the Consistory urged to consult frequently the state of the roads and always be informed through official sources and municipal emergency services.
Dos Hermanas or Puebla del Río are some of the most affected localities. In fact, the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has decreed some traffic cuts, such as the tunnels that pass in the vicinity of Alcala and Palmete and with an incidence reported in the A-92 towards Osuna, also at kilometer 4.5 in Acebuchal.
From the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) point out that the orange level warning will last until 21:00 hours, with the possibility of thunderstorms between 14:00 and 16:00 hours.
The 112 services have already registered more than 80 warnings mainly from Dos Hermanas, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Fuentes de Andalucía, La Puebla de los Infantes, Lebrija, Lora del Río and the capital of Seville.
The authorities insist on following the indications of the traffic agents and that extreme caution should be exercised in case of requiring road travel.
