The Muelle de la Sal has witnessed the presentation of Navigalia by the mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz. The popular mapping on the Guadalquivir adds to the catalog of attractions scheduled for Christmas in Seville.
The show for this 2024, produced by Acciona, is entitled To the rescue of Christmas and will start next December 20. A renewed experience “inviting us to embark on a magical adventure that will awaken the five senses,” stressed Sanz.
A cycle of projections to hallucinate in the environment of the Guadalquivir that can be enjoyed until January 4.
Where can I see the Christmas ‘mapping’: times and tickets
Specifically, the show will last around 12 minutes in six daily passes. These will take place at 18:45, 19:30, 20:15, 21:00, 21:45 and 22:30. Al rescate de la Navidad has the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 2,000 people per show.
In other words: up to 12,000 tickets can be sold each day, except on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, when there will be no programming.
Those interested in purchasing tickets can do so from December 17 through the ICAS website or at the Lope de Vega Theater box office. However, for this edition, reserve a space in the stands arranged by the river will have a symbolic cost of 1 € in order to avoid unoccupied seats.
To the rescue of Christmas
In line with Navigalia 2023, water screens capable of projecting images of the show, which will include music “and an innovative staging”, will be activated on the Guadalquivir.
The story in question will have Fernandus, protective spirit of Seville, and the teenager Curro as protagonists.
Lights and sound on the banks of the Guadalquivir are the tandem by which the Consistory returns to bet this Christmas where there will be more projectors, aerial effects and flamethrowers than in the last edition “offering a completely immersive experience.
