The price of housing continues to soar from one year to another offering dizzying figures in real estate portals. In the sky of these are crowned authentic mansions, plots of land that are the size of two soccer fields and luxurious apartments that we can only dream of. And where are the most expensive houses in Spain? Not surprisingly, the answer is in the province of Malaga, which treasures up to 7 of the most expensive in the country.
Idealista compiles the 10 least affordable homes in the Spanish market and the Costa del Sol accounts for 70% of them.
In fact, the most expensive property for sale in Spain amounts to 50 million euros and is located in Marbella. 1,600 square meters structured in a main villa and guest house, with 0 bedrooms and a plot with garden and swimming pool in 5,000 square meters.
The estate La Madrugada, also in Malaga, occupies the second place in this ranking dedicated to luxury real estate. It is located in Estepona and has no less than 17 bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. The price to pay? 40 million euros.

Third and fourth place go to Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza, a surprise to no one.
Malaga returns to this list in fifth place, with a property in Benahavís that boasts 8,000 square meters of plot which, in this case, amounts to 30,000 million invaluable euros.

It shares price the exquisite Mediterranean mansion with contemporary remnants of Puerto Banús, once home to flamenco dancer Antonio El Bailarín and Pablo Picasso. In fact, in 1961 the painter from Malaga left his signature at the bottom of the pool.
Along with the Costa d’en Blanes villa (in Càlvia, Mallorca), the list is completed by more Malaga residences. Specifically, the remaining ones are located in Cascada de Camoján (29.5 million euros) with indoor pool, hammam, sauna, gym, cinema room and jacuzzi; a mansion on the beachfront in Marbella East (25 million) and another villa in Benahavís (24.75 million euros).
