In just a few weeks , summer will be in full swing, and with it one of its major celebrations of social justice: Pride, which in Seville will take over the entire month of June in 2026.
The program for the event in Seville is a true statement of intent, running from May 28 to June 29, the month of Sexual Diversity. During the presentation, the Equality Delegate, José Luis García, explained:
“We want Pride to be experienced not only in downtown areas, but to be felt in every district and neighborhood. That’s why we’re bringing activities to municipal markets and neighborhood squares: because Pride is also about shopping at the market, strolling down the street, listening from a balcony, and feeling part of the community.”
The program kicks off on May 28 with Fabio Encinar’s fashion show at the Royal Artillery Factory and EsteFest on the 30th on Emilio Lemos Avenue, featuring the Loco Bongo celebration.

The 2026 Pride celebration is expected to be vibrant and assertive, and Seville can already boast a lineup for this edition.
And the poster is an integral part of Pride, and this year it is designed by Rubén Terriza.
This is a work inspired by contemporary dance whose central theme is a collective embrace. This gesture symbolizes the LGTBIQ+ community as a refuge of freedom, love, and mutual care, also using the fountain in San Marcos Square as a metaphor for how each individual (or drop of water) is part of the same community.
The figures in the scene are drawn from the artist’s circle and incorporate powerful symbols of visibility, such as the trans flag draped like a shawl and stars in the background that pay tribute to the memory and resilience of those who paved the way in difficult times, all set against an architectural backdrop that evokes the city’s neighborhoods.
The artwork stands out for its connection to Seville’s popular and queer culture. Among the details of the painting, one can see nods to Ocaña’s imagery through a character dressed as the sun, references to La Esmeralda de Sevilla and the mascot Curro in the earrings, motifs that mimic Triana ceramics and religious embroidery on the clothing, and botanical and literary elements such as a jasmine in honor of Federico García Lorca and a carnation integrated into the typography.

In 2026, Seville will lead Pride Month throughout Andalusia, which will host activities, parades, and celebrations practically throughout the entire month of June.
As for the opening proclamation, this year’s much-anticipated reading will take the form of a choral performance.
The Togayther drag gala will also be held on this day.
In addition to the events mentioned, there will be other musical events throughout Pride Month in Seville.
Just as it happened last year, in 2026Plaza de España will become the epicenter of Seville Pride for a day witha lineup that combines ’90s nostalgia, LGBTQ+ divas, andfive hours of non-stop partying for just €1.
Following last year’s resounding success with Chanel and Laura Gallego, Loco Bongo XXL will take place on Wednesday, June 24—a show hosted by Xenon Spain that has been a huge hit in Madrid and Barcelona.
Trans Pride
Throughout this Diversity Month, other activities centered on diversity have been launched that you shouldn’t miss.
On Friday, June 26, following the reading of the manifesto for the rights of transgender people, performances will take place by Jedet, ATYAT, Natalia, María Isabel, María Peláe, Belén Aguilera, Imperio Reina, Patricia Manterola, Gemeliers, Jorge González, and Agoney.
Southern Pride Parade
Saturday, June 27, is one of the key dates of this Diversity Month, as it marks the march for LGTBIQ+ rights.
The parade usually begins its route at the Provincial Council Building on Menéndez Pelayo Avenue at 7:30 p.m.
As is customary, the parade will wind its way along the Ronda Histórica and Recaredo. It will reach the Puerta del Osario and from there lead the march toward Las Setas to cross Trajano.
Finally, the event will conclude around 10:00 p.m. at the Alameda de Hércules with the reading of the manifesto for the rights of the community.
The event will continue with concerts and various cultural events, with the main stage at the Alameda serving as the hub.
Dani J, Rosalinda, Ríos de Gloria, Rosa López, Chenoa, Barei, Samantha Ballentines, Beth, DNASH, Las Chuches, Lucycalis, and Tony Grox, La Húngara, and Conchita Wurst will provide the entertainment on Saturday.
Pride in the Neighborhoods of Seville
One of the goals of this 2026 edition is to continue bringingreflection, gatherings, and advocacy to the city’s neighborhoods. Thus, a range of original activities is expected in various locations:
Market Pride

- Market Pride with Xenón. At the Pino Montano Market on Friday, June 19.
- And on Saturday, June 20, at the Triana Market with Satín Greco.

- May 29: La Barzola (Plaza del Pilar), organized by the NGO STOP.
- June 12: El Cerro (Eva Cervantes St.), organized by Togayther
- June 13: Seville East (Plaza Farmacéutico José Luis), organized by Adelante LGTBI.
- June 19: San Jerónimo (Alcalá del Río St.), organized by Togayther.

- Discussion : ‘What It Means to Be an Andalusian Bitch’ and How to Better Care for One Another in the LGBTIQ+ Community: June 9 at the Hogar Virgen de los Reyes.
- Performance by designer José Pere on June 10 at the Puerta de Jerez.
- Peña Travesti will stage a performance inspired by the press conference held by Juana Reina, Nati Mistral, Imperio Argentina, and Rocío Jurado in June 1992. It will take place at the Hotel Abba on June 15.

2nd Rainbow Cup
- The 2nd Seville City CouncilRainbow Cup will be held this year on June 13. In collaboration with Fútbol+, the Chicotá LGBT Association, and Orgullo Hispalense CF. It will take place at CD Pino Montano and will include 7-a-side soccer, volleyball, tennis, and padel.
Gypsy Pride
For the first time, Seville is incorporating “Gypsy Pride” into its Diversity Month program, an initiative organized by La Fragua Projects, an LGTBIQ+ Romani organization, which will take place on June 18 and 19 at the Hogar Virgen de los Reyes.
The project aims to raise awareness of the realities faced by LGTBIQ+ Roma people, create safe spaces for gathering and reflection, and position Seville as a city committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion from an intersectional perspective.
Additionally, on June 18, there will be a Safe Gathering for Roma Gender-Nonconforming People(11:00 a.m.) andDiscussions on Roma LGBTIQ+ Activism(5:30 p.m.).
The event will feature activists from Andalusia and other regions of Spain, as well as public discussions on LGTBIQ+ Romani activism, transfeminism, access to employment, masculinities, and the so-called “Romani Closet.”
International LGBTIQ+ Pride Day and Closing Ceremony
On June 28 itself,International LGBTIQ+ Pride Day, a gala titled“Andalusian Pride” will be held, featuring performances byFalete, Laura Gallego, and Peña Travesti.
The gala, which will serve as the closing event for Diversity Month, will pay tribute toAzabache, one of the most memorable shows in Andalusian popular culture, connecting memory, music, folklore, and diversity as the program comes to a close.
