Dance at Las Setas
Meanwhile, students from the Antonio Ruiz Soler Conservatory will star in another of the major street performances.
Final-year students will present their final projects, a unique opportunity to see for free the talent that will soon be joining major international companies in the disciplines of classical, flamenco, and contemporary dance.
The four pieces that make up the program represent the core disciplines of the conservatory: classical dance, Spanish dance, contemporary dance, and flamenco.
You can enjoy them at 9:00 p.m. at the Metropol Parasol.
The star of the show: Miguel Ángel Corbacho
The day takes on a special significance in the province. Miguel Ángel Corbacho, currently assistant director of the Spanish National Ballet, will be named Honorary Citizen of La Rinconada (8:30 p.m., Centro Cultural de la Villa).
A tribute to a brilliant career that took him from Seville’s tablaos to the pinnacle of institutional dance.
Although today is the big day, the Sevilla Danza series continues its activities through May 31.
Performances at the Artillery Factory (such as the one by Marco Vargas & Chloé Brûlé at 7:00 p.m.) require an invitation, which can be picked up at the Espacio Santa Clara box office.
