In full agitation for the UN Summit in Seville, the city only increases its possibilities with an eye on a promising summer and an autumn/winter full of leisure. Green Cow Music, promoter responsible for Icónica Fest, add a musical project to the agenda of Seville: INSÓLITO, a diverse festival that will bring together culture, music, humor, poetry and gastronomy.
The presentation took place this morning at the Port with Algarín and Pablo Távora -project director of the promoter-, Rafael Carmona (president of the Port Authority of Seville) and the humorist and Malacara.
After the experience and success harvested in Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, Green Cow Music embarks on this project that amplifies disciplines, formats and spaces.
“We want to offer an alternative to the usual offer of the Sevillian winter, where culture and leisure go hand in hand, and that people enjoy both known scenarios and other unconventional places that surprise and amuse,” said Távora.
Great musical figures and a rumba rave
INSÓLITO breaks up the usual Sevillian leisure in unique venues, auditoriums and concert halls that will host a program from September to May.
Likewise, the festival aims to break with the concept of nights, giving space and possibilities to the evening schedule.
As for the lineup , it will include a variety of disciplines for all audiences: flamenco, copla, jazz, rock, humor, electronic music and even poetry.
Some of the names that will make up this ambitious first edition are Chucho Valdés, Loquillo, India Martínez, Mala Rodríguez, José Mercé or Navajita Plateá.
One of the most groundbreaking initiatives of the event is ‘Lolailand’, a rumba rave experience that is one of the great milestones of the project.
All these musical events will be preceded by electronic music on Fridays and other alternative musical proposals on Sundays.
INSÓLITO is fully integrated into the urban fabric of Seville, its historical heritage and public spaces, connecting with a very Sevillian identity: open, diverse and full of contrasts.
Thus, the stages of the Cartuja Center CITE or FIBES, the Cartuja Auditorium; the Sala Cité, Pandora or Sala Custom; the CAAC or the Port of Seville are part of this project.
