Plaza de España continues to host a number of concerts each week as part of the Icónica Santalucía Sevilla Fest, though this Friday it will offer much more than just a musical event. The Spanish national team’s match against Belgium in the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be broadcast live on a giant screen right in Plaza de España.
The organizers have adjusted their schedule so that attendees can watch the match and, right after, let loose at the concert by Puerto Rican artist Omar Courtz, who is making his debut on the city’s most iconic stage.
Official schedule for tonight’s night of soccer and music
The organizers’ schedule takes both events into account: first, the highly anticipated soccer match, followed by the musical performance by Omar Courtz.
- At 8:00 p.m., the Plaza de España venue will open to the public.
- At 9:00 p.m., the broadcast of Spain vs. Belgium will begin on the giant screen.
- Finally, Omar Courtz’s concert will begin at 11:00 p.m.
Plan B: Free giant screen in San Pablo
For those who don’t have tickets to Icónica but don’t want to miss the match in a stadium-like atmosphere, the Seville City Council has arranged an alternative.
Another giant screen will be set up at the San Pablo Sports Center (access via Doctor Laffón Soto Street). Admission will be free until capacity is reached, with doors opening at 8:30 p.m.
