The Festival of Nations, one of the most anticipated events of the autumn in Seville, will not be held this 2024. It would be the 40th edition of an event that brought together every year weeks of music, international cuisine and stalls next to the Prado de San Sebastian and Maria Luisa Park.
The organization has released a statement in which they claim to work towards 2025 and offer a larger event.
However, it is not the first time that the Festival of Nations cancels its proposal. Since it was created in 1993, it has failed three times: in 2014, during the health crisis in 2020 and this time.
The festival is an initiative of the Eventos y Proyectos Iberoamericanos group. It started with the Expo 92 and since then has developed more than 150 events in cities such as Santander, Valencia, Malaga and Vitoria.
