The Seville European Film Festival is now in its 22nd edition, scheduled from November 7 to 15 with the aim of becoming a meeting point between the public and professionals in the sector. One of the cultural events that promises to enrich the Sevillian guide in autumn.
A handful of competitive sections, beyond the official one, make up the SEFF. Last year’s novelties are repeated in 2026: ‘Rampa’, which recognizes new directors, and ‘Alumbramiento’, which will showcase films without distribution in Spain.
The edition will also include special screenings, tributes and retrospectives, exhibitions, round tables, master classes and a wide range of parallel activities. In short, the Seville European Film Festival will integrate over 9 days the best titles produced in Europe during 2025.
Tickets and passes can already be purchased on the official website of the festival or at the physical points of sale: Nervión Plaza and Odeón Plaza de Armas. The price of each screening is 3.5 €; access to the galas and special events is 6 €.
Festival venues

In addition to the screening rooms that have been used by the festival on other occasions (MK2 Nervión Plaza, Cines Cervantes and Teatro Alameda), there are other venues. Namely: the five screens of the Odeon Plaza de Armas, two of Avenida 5 Cines, as well as one of the auditoriums of the Cartuja Center, with capacity for more than 2,000 spectators.
As for the parallel activities programmed, the Cajasol Foundation, the CICUS and the Factoría Cultural will provide their spaces, although they will not be the only ones this 2025.
The Teatro Central, the Gallo Rojo space, the Teatro de la Maestranza, various educational and university institutions, civic centers and the Seville 1 Penitentiary Center will join this project devoted to cinema.
As for the Official Selection, although all the titles have yet to be revealed, it will include films such as Enzo, All That’s Left of You, La vida fuera or Serás Farruquito.
Films that cross different sensibilities and narrative aesthetics and that will be screened throughout the Festival.
