The picture is Sunday but it could well be hell. Seville, four o’clock in the afternoon and the spirit enough to have an ice cream before rushing home or face a movie session at Yelmo. To think that La Fábrica is going to be less crowded at the end of August is a chimera: its ice cream dorayakis still have queues.
The one of Los Bermejales par excellence and one of the most famous in Seville, for viral products like these or its Fábrica rolls.
Although, it must be said, it is not for less: the whims are served.
It is located on Paseo de Europa Avenue, next to some classics of the neighborhood as Street Food Burger, Burger Food Porn. Or those related to Avenida de Finlandia: Fuera de Carta or Socarra.
In La Fábrica there are those who come for their home-sized tub; those who wait patiently for a classic cone or families who swarm in droves for milkshakes, slushies, ice creams of all kinds and the ice cream dorayakis in question.
How much do La Fábrica’s ice cream dorayakis cost?
A hit even in summer, this great idea combines warm brioche with a scoop of ice cream inside, topped with cream and your favorite sweet sauce. Unctuous and bland, but it works, and it’s priced at 4.5 €.
The ice creams are handmade and have their own workshop, with flavors that can be counted by the dozen. Ferrero, Kinder Bueno, pistachio with Happy Hipo, mango, Lotus, melon, white chocolate,…
The reinvention of ice cream, however, is not new. In Bolas, they champion the creation of inhospitable flavors -fromvermouth to Manu Jara‘s palm tree-and other businesses in Seville dare to combine them with waffles and even churros.
