Summer makes it possible for cities and towns to come up with summer attractions that encourage leisure and tourism in their areas. One of the most effective – the Luna Mora Festival in Guaro has proved its success – is to illuminate the villages with candles, as will happen on July 26th in the Night of Candles in Constantina.
A tradition that energizes the zenith of summer and now celebrates its fourth edition in this town in the Sierra Norte de Sevilla. Just 86 kilometers from Seville, Constantina will radiate its beauty by candlelight on this day that will also integrate live music.
From 22:30 hours, streets, squares and corners of this town will be decorated with candles thanks to the collaboration of the neighbors and the Casa Rural La Zzinetina, in charge of their arrangement, control and collection.
Candlelight night in Constantina: music and illuminated streets.

Specifically, this 2025 will be 11 streets in which dozens of candles will be arranged, as reported from the City Council. Namely: the streets Izquierdo, Sordo, Santiago, Mayor, Garabata, Perro, Castillo, Cárcel vieja, Santa Constanza, Ramblazo and Párroco González Serna.
Along with the attractive appearance of its streets, this Candlelight Night will feature live music. An itinerant violin concert that will pass through various locations in the municipality. An initiative, also courtesy of ‘La Zzinetina’ that will follow this route:
- Plaza de El Sordo at 22:30 hours.
- Santa Constanza at 23:00 hours.
- Next to the monument of the Sacred Heart of the castle at 23:30 hours.
- It will culminate in the Plaza de la Calle Mayor around midnight.
Candlelight Concerts in Seville
The Candlelight organization knows that the formula has no fissures, and has been offering a complete musical program for years all over the world. The premise has no mystery: unique locations and intimate concerts that include cult music, soundtracks and contemporary tributes.
In Seville, Candlelight is held in iconic venues such as the Hotel Alfonso XIII or the city’s aquarium throughout the year, with thematic proposals among candles and flowers.
