The aroma of charcoal grilling fills the Plaza Padre Jerónimo de Córdoba thanks to the calçotadas that, as every season, La Quinta Brasería brings back. This is one of Catalonia’s major gastronomic events, which the Catalina group’s restaurant is replicating until March 7.
A fleeting feast served from Tuesday to Saturday in menu format.
A tasting menu based on calçots
This spectacular 19th-century palace is hosting these experiences until March 8, setting aside formalities to embrace this seasonal product.
The tasting menu includes, of course, calçots from Valls, served as tradition dictates: grilled, on a tile, and accompanied by a romesco sauce that will have you mopping up every last drop.
The menu designed for the occasion is a display of meat power and authenticity:

- The starter: calçots from Valls with authentic romesco sauce.
- The heart of the grill. The main courses consist of two courses:white and black sausage with mongetes (beans) and aioli, followed by a feast of free-range chicken and lamb ribs, accompanied by patatas al caliu (hot potatoes) and grilled artichokes.
- The finishing touch is provided by two desserts: burnt Catalan cream and the classic nut mousse with muscatel.
The price of the menu includes water, soft drinks, beer, coffee, Ribera del Duero or Rioja or Rueda wine.
How much do the calçotadas at La Quinta cost?
For a fixed price of €45, the menu includes a full wine cellar, making it one of the best value for money plans for this winter in Seville.
La Quinta Brasería warns: this is a temporary experience. To enjoy this “country party” within stately walls, reservations are essential. You can book via their website, by email at reservas@laquintabraseria.com, or by phone at 954 600 016.
Of course, you can specify whether you want the full ritual or prefer a teja to share while you explore their regular menu of pedigree meats.
