On Tuesday, January 20, Renfe activated an Alternative Transport Plan to guarantee the travel of people affected by the suspension of services in light of the accident in Adamuz (Córdoba). The initiative will continue for as long as traffic between Madrid and Andalusia is affected.
These tickets, under a single transport title, will integrate both journeys and include bus routes between Córdoba and Villanueva de Córdoba in both directions. The measure will only affect the mobility of passengers who have to travel “for strictly necessary reasons.” The distribution is as follows:
Transport originating in Madrid
- Madrid-Puerta de Atocha (7:00 a.m.)-Seville Santa Justa (12:07 p.m.)

Trains traveling between Córdoba and Seville will not stop along the way.
Tickets have a fixed price of €40 from Seville and Malaga and are sold in tourist class. In any case, passengers can request a free refund of their original ticket and purchase a new one corresponding to the services included in the Alternative Transport Plan or make a change with a refund of the difference.

Renfe will also offer passengers the following special services, which will be provided by conventional rail, not by high-speed rail.
