Antico Interiores kicks off its “Mercadillo en casa” season on September 12, 13, and 14 at a property in Seville’s historic district. The company, which went viral for opening the doors of private homes and selling their furniture, is organizing a new pop-up sale this weekend.
For three days only, enthusiasts of interior design, collecting, and antiques will be able to step inside a Sevillian home to acquire unique pieces steeped in history.
What can you find at this house clearance sale?
Under the motto “decorate to clear out,” the Antico team transforms the shopping experience into an open house. Instead of a conventional store, visitors wander through the property’s actual rooms, discovering each item on display in its original context.
Highlights from the selection of items available for this September edition include:
- Furniture: everything from sofas, coffee tables, and designer chairs to stately sideboards and accent pieces.
- Decor and art: paintings, mirrors with period frames, vases, sculptures, and textiles.
- Household goods and one-of-a-kind items: complete dinnerware sets, glassware, porcelain coffee sets, books, and small everyday treasures that once belonged to the home.
Location and details of the sale
The event will be held for a limited time at 1 Augusto Plasencia Street, 2nd Floor, Apartment A. No appointment is necessary to attend; however, the organizers note that during peak times, capacity will be managed by handing out admission numbers on a first-come, first-served basis.
The process for purchasing items is very simple: small, labeled objects can be picked up directly and taken to the checkout, while for large pieces of furniture, simply remove the corresponding label and pay the organization.
