Summer is drawing to a close with the usual hassles of going back to school, which in Andalusia takes place between September 3 and 15. The shelves of stationery stores and supermarkets in Seville are filling up with school supplies to provide children and teenagers with the items they’ll need in the coming months.
September brings with it the fall schedule, as well as next year’s school calendar and the dates marked in red for taking a break.
Between national and regional holidays and the usual non-school days set by the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Seville City Council, the 2026–2027 school year is packed with great opportunities to plan long weekends and extended breaks.
