In the heart of Seville’s Sierra Morena, Alanís is a fairytale-like village that every year dons its historical finery for its Medieval Days. Its streets are decorated in true medieval style and filled with troubadours, minstrels, merchants, and activities for all ages.
A traditional event that draws thousands of visitors. Specifically, in 2026, it will celebrate its 21st edition and will take place from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6. A major tourist, commercial, and cultural attraction on a provincial scale.
Festivities of Tourist Interest since 2019
At this medieval market, you can expect music and entertainment, historical reenactments, crafts, and local cuisine in a setting that recreates and evokes the towns of the Middle Ages.

The narrow streets will be adorned with banners and flagsrolas; residents, who also participate in the festivities, will wear clothing appropriateto the historical period. There will be no shortage of rogues, jesters, and maidens bringing the town’s streets to life. Thus, the medieval reenactments, is undoubtedly one of its highlights, which has led to this celebration being designated a Festival of Tourist Interest.
