From Pascual Márquez to Joselito el Gallo, thousands of attendees, sevillanas, and a sky full of lanterns that fades away after this great week of Sevillian festivities. Seville just turned off the lights at its Real this morning, though for those who want to start the next countdown, we already know when the April Fair will be held in 2027.
The next edition, however, will be earlier than usual.
The 2027 Seville Fair Calendar
The date of the Fair is intrinsically linked to Holy Week —it is held two weeks after Easter Sunday. Thus, since Easter falls in March, Palm Sunday is set for March 21, and the calendar shifts as follows:
- Fish Monday and the lighting ceremony would take place on April 12, 2027.
- For its part, the end of the fair would take place on Sunday, April 18, 2027.
This means the festival will arrive a week earlier than in the 2026 edition, which promises somewhat milder temperatures for strolling through the Real.
The 2026 edition, which concluded last night with the traditional fireworks, saw a massive turnout that broke records last Wednesday, with more than 246,500 visitors using public transportation alone.
