The City Council of Seville has communicated, through its social networks, the activation of the Municipal Emergency Plan in light of the forecasts of rains and storms and the yellow warning in Seville of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Thus, the phase Preemergencias Level 1 of the Consistory includes the closure of parks and outdoor sports facilities during the morning and early afternoon this Thursday. Specifically, the measure will last until 17:59, when the Aemet has determined the end of the warning in Seville.
Therefore, and in order to ensure the safety of citizens, the Maria Luisa Park, Parque de los Princes, Alamillo, Amate or Guadaira Park will be closed to the public during this Thursday.
The preventive closure will also apply to sports facilities and, in any case, it is recommended to consult the recommendations of the authorities (City Council and Emergencies 112 Andalusia), with all the information about incidents and adverse weather conditions.
