Delirious, charming, or downright hilarious. The performing arts encompass a multitude of genres, and comedy, often reviled, promises the escape we may need as we settle back into the routine that September brings. Beyond the Opera Biennial, Seville’s stages are also filled with comedy events, stand-up comedy, and open mics.
Different themes and performances programmed to entertain and surprise audiences in various bars, venues, and theaters around the city await us in the coming weeks.

Seville has a wide range of plans in store for next February, welcoming in the new year with dance, music and, as we will discuss here, humor. The Andalusian Alternative Comedy Festival (FACA) returns to Seville to celebrate its fourth edition.
What began as PCR Comedy, the monthly show created by Pabloshurmano and Suricato Capitán, has now become an ambitious event that will take place over 12 hours and welcome more than 30 Andalusian comedians.

El Cuatrogatos is one of those multipurpose bars where you can play Trivialaso, attend a concert, enjoy a carnival night or an afternoon of laughter. Or of “jajas,” as Pabloshurmano would say.
Tardeo de jajas brings together some of the elements that characterize the comedian and actor: stand-up, improv, games with the audience, jokes, live songs, performances, screenings, etc.
You have to come to San Julián to get a feel for the neighborhood and find out what’s new with Pablo Díaz.
