Passion for the Spanish national team isn’t limited to the capital. In addition to the giant screens set up in Seville tonight , other municipalities in the province are fully committed to this historic semifinal on Tuesday, July 14, at 9:00 p.m.
City councils throughout Seville are setting up authentic local “fan zones” with giant screens, music, bars, and a lively atmosphere to cheer La Roja on to the grand final.
If you live in the province or feel like getting out of the capital to experience the game in a different atmosphere, these towns have already confirmed they’ll have giant screens:
Giant screens in Aljarafe to watch the semifinal
- Tomares: The gathering spot will be the iconic Jardines del Conde. There will be a 5×3-meter giant screen, and doors will open at 8:00 p.m.
- Gines: a 5×3 screen on the main stage at Parque Concejala Dolores Camino, with free admission and refreshments available.
- San Juan de Aznalfarache: Plaza del Torero.
- Castilleja de la Cuesta will have two giant screens: one in Plaza de Santiago and another in Parque del Parlamento.
- Castilleja de Guzmán will set up a large 6×2-meter LED screen in the Plaza de España. A musical pre-game show will begin at 8:00 p.m.
- Huévar del Aljarafe: giant screen in the Plaza de España starting at 9:00 p.m.
- Almensilla: The match will be shown in the Plaza de la Iglesia. The venue opens at 7:00 p.m.; refreshments will be served by the Hermandad de San Diego, and—take note—attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs from home to be comfortable.
- Villanueva del Ariscal: giant screen at the Fairgrounds.
La Campiña and the Lower Guadalquivir
- Los Palacios y Villafranca: live broadcast starting at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza de España.
- Dos Hermanas: Following the success of the quarterfinals, the event will once again take place in the Plaza del Arenal. The event starts at 8:00 p.m.
- Utrera: an 8-meter screen in the iconic Plaza del Altozano; the pre-game festivities start at 8:30 p.m.
- Lebrija: in the Plaza de España starting at 9:00 p.m.
- El Cuervo de Sevilla: The giant screen will be set up in the Plaza de la Constitución starting at 9:00 p.m.
Sierra Sur, Sierra Norte, and Monumentales
- Carmona: a double treat in one of the province’s gems. The City Council is setting up giant screens in the Alameda Alfonso XIII and in the “Rafael Durán Rafalichi” Park in Guadajoz (both starting at 8:00 p.m.).
- Estepa: an 8-square-meter giant screen in the Plaza de Abastos. Doors open and pre-game festivities begin early, starting at 7:00 p.m.
- Castilblanco de los Arroyos: Meet at Plaza Amarilla starting at 8:00 p.m., with musical entertainment beforehand.
- Paradas: Coinciding with the San Eutropio Patron Saint Festivities, the Caseta Municipal opens at 8:00 p.m. with free admission, a giant screen, a bouncy castle for the kids, nightly bingo with a DJ, and a bar serving montaditos.
- Algámitas: giant screen in the Plaza de Andalucía (across from City Hall). There will be face painting for children, and bringing a portable chair is recommended.
