The event will take place on Saturday, December 12, with two performances at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Museo del Enganche in Jerez, one hour from Seville. For 60 minutes, a string quartet will perform some of the most moving soundtracks from the Disney universe in the unmistakable atmosphere of Candlelight, surrounded by thousands of candles that will transform this unique space into a fairytale setting.
The repertoire ranges from classics like“Snow White’s Love Song” (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), “A Whole New World” (Aladdin), and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” (The Lion King), to more recent songs like “Two Little Caterpillars”(Encanto) and “Remember Me” (Coco).
Plus, children ages 5 and up are welcome, so it’s a plan that works just as well for a family outing as it does for a date night.
The Carriage Museum: the night’s other star attraction
It’s not every day you get to enjoy a concert surrounded by historic carriages and just a few meters from the horses of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art.
That is precisely one of the attractions of this edition of Candlelight, which transforms the Museo del Enganche into a venue quite unlike any other. Housed in a former early 19th-century Jerez wine cellar, the space preserves one of Andalusia’s most representative collections of carriages and is one of Jerez’s most iconic landmarks.
