Taking into account the ad that titles this article – €690 for a 95m2 apartment in the San Julián neighborhood-, an estimate of the price per square meter 10 years ago could be around 7 euros/m2. Taking a look at the latest Idealista report regarding rental prices in Seville, the square meter in May 2025 stands at €12.5, almost double that of 2015.
Has the average annual salary in Seville gone up?
Although the price of rent has increased substantially in the last ten years, the average annual salary in Seville in 2023 was €19,399, according to the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia. Barely 4,000 of difference, compared to the 2015 data provided by the Tax Agency, which places the average annual salary in Seville at €15,920.
