Entering the Land of Oz from Seville is now possible for one day, and in a completely unique way: through its music in its most classic format. The Wizard of Oz – A Classic Concert arrives at the impressive Global Omnium Auditorium with an intimate evening in which to relive the magic of his songs by the hand of a string quartet.
There is something about the story of that Kansas girl with braids and little ruby shoes that never goes out of style. From Dorothy to the Tin Man, The Wizard of Oz is much more than a book or a movie: it’s a journey of life and friendship told through lovable characters (not including the Wicked Witch of the West) and an iconic soundtrack. Notes that we will be able to hear live in this concert that will take place on December 19.

Candlelight: The Wizard of Oz – A Classic Concert
Music is another main character in The Wizard of Oz. Songs that we all remember and that turn every scene into pure magic, from the moment when everyone sings Follow the Yellow Brick Road to when the Scarecrow opens up to his friends in If I Only Had A Brain. Their melodies not only guide us through the film but also delve into the emotions of the characters, resulting in a unique soundtrack capable of making us think and laugh in equal parts.
And this season, Candlelight is tiled in yellow in this 60-minute concert in Seville to celebrate the music of The Wizard of Oz in a unique way. Thousands of candles together with the intimate sound of a string quartet performing live songs like Over the Rainbow or We’re Off to See the Wizard. And all without a tornado in between.
