Traveling by AVE from Barcelona to Seville, and vice versa, will not require a single transfer. At least this will allow the new Renfe service between Barcelona and Seville, which will be launched on April 23rd.
High-speed trains will cross half the country without the need to change trains in Madrid. Of course, it will make stops, as usual this route, in other national stations.
In other words, the route will be the usual one, passing through Cordoba, Puertollano, Ciudad Real, Madrid, Zaragoza, Lleida, Tarragona and Gerona, without passengers getting off in Madrid and having to change trains or alternative means of transport.
Timetables for the Barcelona-Seville AVE
The train leaving Seville will depart at 6:00 am and will pass through Cordoba at 6:45 am. The arrival in Barcelona will be at 12:41 and the journey will end in Figueres at 13:44.
Conversely, the AVE will depart from Barcelona at 16:58 (except on Saturdays) and will arrive in Seville at 22:49. It will arrive in Cordoba at 21:55 hours.
