In the Plaza Calderon de la Barca, opposite the Feria Street Market, the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba stands as a formidable (and often unknown) example of Mudejar art. It is during the summer season when it acquires greater splendor in the context of the ‘Summer Nights’ at the Palacio de los Marqueses de la Algaba.
For this edition he returned to bet on an exclusively musical program, much more appropriate for the space and a greater eclecticism in the choice of performers.
Jazz, music from both shores (Brazil and Portugal), Andalusian and North African, flamenco and jazz, Middle Eastern, Sephardic, Balkan or soul. They are held three days a week – Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays – from June 30 to August 28.
Tickets can be purchased free of charge (until full capacity is reached) through this website. From Monday of the week in question, tickets can be reserved and picked up from Monday to Thursday between 10:00 am and 1:30 pm and from Tuesday to Thursday from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the palace itself.
Complete program: last concerts
The programming of this summer 2025 has been designed, as tradition dictates, for an audience of all ages and musical tastes, a wide range of musical events that we describe below. Specifically, all of them started at 21:30, although access to the complex will be available from 21:00 hours.
Sephardic music, blues, Middle Eastern sounds, flamenco, jazz and many other genres have been played in this emblematic courtyard. There are still, however, three concerts to be held in the ‘Summer Nights’ that this palace celebrates. They will take place this week and are as follows:
- Tuesday, August 26, 2025: Susana Travassos (Portugal and Brazil: music of the two shores).
- Wednesday, August 27, 2025: Bratia (Balkan music and jazz manouche).
- Thursday, August 28, 2025: Bratia (Balkan music and jazz manouche).
