“A declaration of love for our history, our heritage […] Seville as a whole will be a stage that will thrill the world”. With these words, José Luis Sanz, mayor of the city, championed the first Seville Opera Biennial, a festival that starts in the last days of September and will last until October 12, 2025.
This ambitious musical project around the opera will spread its various activities and performances in seven different spaces. Namely: the Real Fábrica de Artillería, the Real Alcázar, the Espacio Turina, the Teatro de la Maestranza and the Casas Palacios: Palacio de las Dueñas, Casa Salinas and the Hospital de la Caridad.
