The Seville Half Marathon, one of the first major events of the year, will celebrate its 31st edition on Sunday, January 25. This popular event will bring together 20,000 runners in 2026. That’s 3,000 more than in the previous edition, with the highest number of women registered (32%) and the participation of 30 elite athletes.
The San Pablo Athletics Club, in collaboration with Seville City Council, is organizing this sporting event, which will take place throughout the city on Sunday morning.
Race materials, bibs, and other items will be provided at the San Pablo pavilion on January 23 and 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
What is the route of the Seville Half Marathon?
The Paseo de las Delicias will be the starting and finishing point for this sporting event, which will begin at 9:00 a.m. Specifically, it will cover 21,097 meters and pass through areas such as the Torre del Oro, the Barqueta bridge, and the Macarena arch.
The route will then follow Glorieta de Méjico, Avenida de la Palmera, Francisco Murillo, and Manuel Siurot until it reaches Avenida de la Borbolla. From there, it will continue towards Juan de Mata Carrizao, José María Moreno Galván, and Juan Antonio Cavestany.
The route will take runners along José Laguillo, María Auxiliadora, and Ronda de Capuchinos to the Andalusian Parliament. It will then continue along Resolana, cross the Barqueta Bridge, and take José de Gálvez to the Teatro Central.
It then continues towards Américo Vespucio and Camino de los Descubrimientos, the Cartuja footbridge, and Torneo, back on the monumental banks of Seville.

Plaza de Armas, Colón, Delicias, ending at the San Telmo Bridge, Plaza de Cuba and República Argentina to Blas Infante. It continues through the Carlos Cano, Oliva Virgen de la Oliva and Santa Fe roundabouts to return once again to República Argentina.
At this point, the route continues towards the center: Delicias, Colón, Reyes Católicos, San Pablo, Rioja, Tetuán to Plaza Nueva.
Runners will take Avenida de la Constitución and Puerta Jerez, turn at San Fernando to Don Juan de Austria and Avenida del Cid. The final stretch consists of Avenida de María Luisa, Glorieta de los Marineros Voluntarios and, finally, Paseo de las Delicias.
The time limit for completing the race is three hours.
Traffic disruptions due to the Seville Half Marathon
As is usual with sporting events taking place in the city, there will be total traffic closures on Avenida de las Razas, Avenida Molini, Avenida de La Palmera, Paseo de las Delicias, Avenida de la Guardia Civil, and José María Moreno Galván from Saturday morning until Sunday afternoon.
Tussam bus lines C1, C2, C3, and C4 will be suspended between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Other lines, such as 14, 40, 41, 43, T1, and C5, will experience limitations, interruptions, or detours.
Those lines that are operating will offer free travel to runners and volunteers until 3:00 p.m., upon presentation of a race number or accreditation.
