The French railway company, Ouigo, finally lands in Seville and next September 26 will specify when the Seville – Madrid route will start. Back in February they announced that their launch would take place after the summer and, indeed, it will be in late September when these low-cost trains begin to operate between the two cities.
The new connection between Seville and Madrid will start in late September.
All the news concerning this new connection will be announced on the day in question by the commercial and marketing director of Ouigo Spain, Federico Pareja. The event will take place at Santa Justa station at 9:30 am.
As indicated by its pricing policy, tickets will be on sale from €9. In addition, they have a reduced flat rate for children of 5 euros and free tickets for babies traveling in the lap of an adult.
Ouigo began operating in Spain in 2021 on the Madrid-Barcelona corridor. Since then it has done nothing but expand its connections and incorporate new destinations to its catalog, always under the banner of low prices.
With tickets from 9 euros, Ouigo becomes the second competitor of Renfe in Andalusia, after the incorporation of Iryo last year.
At a price starting at 9 euros per ticket, OUIGO will directly connect Seville, Cordoba and Malaga with Madrid Atocha.
