Seville Airport adds a new direct connection to its list of destinations, although this was already among its established destinations. The airline Aer Lingus will connect Seville with Dublin (Ireland) from this Friday, October 25, and will do so three times a week: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Flights from Seville will be operated with an Airbus A-320 and will depart at 12:35 on Fridays and at 18:45 on Wednesdays and Sundays. The Dublin-based company announces that the flights will take around three hours.
Thus, the connection adds a competitor in the city, with tickets at a minimum price of 49.90 € and available until April 30, 2025.
The airline, which is expanding its winter capacity on European routes, has highlighted Seville as “the jewel of Andalusia”, and defines it as “a perfect getaway for the winter”, for the “unforgettable experience it promises”.
However, it is not the only company that establishes air connections between Seville and the Republic of Ireland, as Ryanair currently maintains two routes: Dublin and Cork, the latter located in the south of the island.
Record number of passengers at Seville Airport
Seville currently has direct connections with 75 cities (20 Spanish and 55 foreign, including Istanbul, a recent destination), and with 81 airports.
These data are confirmed in a very positive way by the number of passengers registered, with a record number of users month after month.
In fact, September closed with 800,000 passengers, which represents a historic month, with 7.5% more users compared to the same period in 2023, and accumulates 6.85 million passengers so far this year.
