Andalusia takes advantage of the idiosyncrasy of summer weather to make the most of the nights and turn them into cultural and gastronomic destinations. The summer cinemas permeate the streets in the city and become an infallible in each municipality; festivals, fairs and processions of glory dress up the nights and what better than the moon to witness musical or gastronomic evenings like the one we are talking about: the pavías of Tomares.
Last weekend of ‘Las pavías de Tomares’.
Tomares does the same with its summer program and recovers ‘Las pavías‘, its popular event dedicated to the soldiers of hake and cod.
The Jardines del Conde del Ayuntamiento de Tomares are the backdrop that hosts this event by the women of the Sacramental Sisterhood, on Fridays and Saturdays from June 27 to August 9.
This annual gastronomic cycle takes place from 21:00 hours on those days where other food will also be offered.
Classic tapas at affordable prices, from ensaladilla, pinchitos, carne mecha or its traditional Veracruz, a montadito composed of steak, salmorejo and ham. In addition, music will harmonize many of these nights under the stars.

Under this premise, tomareños and visitors to the locality will be able to throw to the gullet paths fried fish and other tapas booths at prices more than popular.
Namely, ensaladilla, meat mechá, pinchitos, montaditos or “the shirt”, a pavia with a thin layer of flour.
As has happened in other editions, at the end of this season of ‘Las pavías de Tomares’, the money raised with these actions will go to the maintenance of the Brotherhood and its social work to help the disadvantaged.
