The month of May in Seville offers a multitude of outdoor activities. Alamillo Park hosts one of the most multifaceted: In the Park, the twenty-first cultural event in partnership with Cervezas Victoria and the English Language Institute in one of the city’s green lungs.
This third edition will finally take place on May 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., following last week’s cancellation due to rain.
Live music, children’s activities, and workshops for all ages, a curated selection of cuisine, and its signature craft market.
Creative workshops and the return of the Pokémon Gymkhana
As for the workshops and activities, this time there will be henna, painting, and creativity workshops, as well as fun and educational activities.
One of the big hits from previous editions is back this spring: the Pokémon Gymkhana led by Professor Noak. It promises a day full of surprises and family fun.
After a year in which it drew more than 20,000 people, In the Park returns to the hórreo area of Alamillo Park with a varied program of activities.
As has become tradition, the craft market will be one of the main highlights of the event, with more than 1,000 vendors participating on May 16.
Musical lineup: from traditional flamenco to rave culture
The event will also feature a carefully curated musical lineup. Specifically , the lineup will include Esteban Bove, a member of the Califato 3×4: Certain People collective from Vigo, with influences from Detroit and Chicago; the analog sounds of Giuseppe Beats; Kristina, an icon of the Cadiz coast; and Pewii, the tropical opening act of the Brecha collective.
After 11:00 p.m., the party continues, as is customary, at Bar Mutante, the event’s official after-party venue.
