Amid the daunting search for affordable rentals in Seville, a few promising developments are emerging. One such opportunity is the new residential project at 22 San Roque Street. The renovation of Corral de las Flores, representing an investment of more than 1.6 million euros, includes 18 subsidized apartments under a special rental program for people under 35.
What are the apartments like, and how much do they cost?
The apartments will be delivered furnished and fully equipped with a kitchen, basic appliances, and air conditioning, ready to move in.
As for the average price, it will be around 292 euros per month (the rent will vary depending on the square meters of the unit).
All have one bedroom, and their floor area ranges from 25 to 58 square meters of usable space.
- Accessibility: Six of the apartments have been adapted for people with limited mobility.
The building, which has two floors and an attic, also features common areas and commercial spaces on the ground floor, with the 18 units distributed among the ground floor (6), the first floor (8), and the top floor or attic (4).
Requirements for applying for one of these apartments
This initiative is designed to help young people become independent through affordable rent. To be eligible for one of these apartments, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be under 35 years of age.
- Income: Applicants must have an annual income that does not exceed three times the IPREM ( Public Multiple-Effect Income Indicator).
- Registration: Applicants must be registered with the Seville Municipal Registry of Subsidized Housing Applicants.
A location with historical and social significance
This project revitalizes a building that had fallen into disuse and disrepair, restoring an iconic space to the Andalusian capital that is adapted to the current needs of young people while preserving the neighborhood’s cultural roots.
