Mercados, souks and mercadillos stimulate the autumn in Seville like few things. They are installed in the squares, fish markets and roads of the city as lively promises being the Creative Crafts Fair one of the most popular of the season. The Avenida de la Constitución will again be a meeting point between those who champion the craft and those passionate about craftsmanship.
More than thirty workshops will feed the autumn spirit in their stalls next to the cathedral. Under the slogan “Made in Seville”, celebrates its third edition consolidating as one of the references for the sector in the city.
In this regard, the delegate of Economy and Trade, Alvaro Pimentel, has inaugurated this fair accompanied by the president of the Federation of Artisans of Seville, Antonia Rubio. “More and more workshops are joining this event, which offers a unique showcase between the Cathedral and the Archivo de Indias, enhancing the craftsmanship of Seville,” remarked the mayor.
Dates and schedule of the Creative Crafts Fair
The two editions held by the Feria de Artesanía Creativa (in spring and autumn) as well as the Christmas one, located in Plaza Nueva, have been consolidated as strategic platforms for the business development of handicrafts. In addition, they allow the resident public and tourists to discover and directly acquire unique pieces, favoring the visibility and commercialization of handicraft products.
It should be noted that for this one, five more workshops have been incorporated than in 2023, adding 39 craft spaces to the catalog of the present.
The possibilities offered by this event, which has been held since 2008, are not few. And is that it makes available to the visitor objects of pottery, ceramics, leather, jewelry, forging and even textile..
Regarding the period of activity of the event and its schedule, it will open this Friday, September 13 September until October 20 from 10:00 to 14:30 hours and from 18:00 to 21:00 hours.
