It is known that Seville, well into the autumn, attends a hatching of plans with special emphasis on those of gastronomic cut. This 2025 have already marked the agenda QuesArte, Guadalcao and the second edition of Chicharfest, the fair dedicated to pork rinds in Seville.
A food that treasures a good amount of proselytes and that repeats with its own event in Seville.
Dates and schedule of Chicharfest
The occasion will convene on November 14, 15 and 16 in the Parque de Magallanes to producers, artisans and restaurateurs. The purpose is firm: to honor and elevate this recipe, one of the tapas that enjoys greater local notoriety.
Specifically, Chicharfest will be open from 12:00 to 00:00 hours both Friday and Saturday; on Sunday it will be extended only until 20:00 in the afternoon.
The event will bring together tastings, musical performances, children’s workshops, tasting contest and the best chicharrón of the capital . A dozen artisans will attend this edition to show the versions that will delight the devotees of the chicharrones.
A professional jury will evaluate the creations of all participants and will award the “Golden Chicharrón” to the winner of this second edition of Chicharfest.
Once again, Seville is lavishing itself with an abundance of gastronomic festivals. That encourage the general public, promote the local Sevillian economy and put in value the food and elaborations of Seville.
